Francis Ford Coppola, the legendary American director behind The Godfather trilogy and Apocalypse Now, shared a health update after being hospitalized in Italy on Tuesday.

ROME (Reuters) -Oscar-winning director Francis Ford Coppola has been discharged from the hospital in Rome where he was admitted two days ago, and is "feeling good", a person familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

Francis Ford Coppola, the acclaimed American director of The Godfather movies and Apocalypse Now, underwent a non-emergency medical procedure in Rome Tuesday and is doing fine, he and a U.S.-based representative said.
