Horton, the seventh overall pick in the 2022 draft out of the University of Oklahoma, debuted on May 10. He was forced into the Cubs' rotation due to a few injuries, but he also did some forcing on his own, thanks to a 1.24 ERA and 0.86 WHIP in six Triple-A starts.

The actual game took place at the Rogers Centre last night, where the Cubs sent young fireballer Cade Horton to the mound to face grizzled veteran Blue Jays hurler Kevin Gausman. Miguel Amaya was in the starting lineup. I am assuming the battery are familiar with one another, and they certainly worked well.
Horton has found his groove in the Majors, tossing 22.2 scoreless innings while allowing just 17 baserunners in his past four starts. Fantasy managers cannot ignore this excellent combination of recent success and substantial upside from someone who was a notable prospect,
