The Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves already started their one-off game at Bristol Motor Speedway on Aug. 2, but it was twice delayed by rain before it was suspended. Aug. 3 will see the times pick-up where they left off and attempt to complete a full game.

For all the planning and money and logistical achievements that went into staging the Speedway Classic, none of that guaranteed the weather would cooperate. It hasn't on Aug. 2, and we're in a rain delay at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The Atlanta Braves will face the Cincinnati Reds on August 2nd, in the Speedway Classic, as the two teams take the field at one of NASCAR's most famous tracks.
