The Alberta government continues to face fierce opposition to plans that will reduce access to publicly funded COVID-19 vaccines in the province.

The organization representing Alberta doctors is joining health-care unions in raising concerns over Premier Danielle Smith’s decision to charge most Albertans for a COVID-19 vaccination this fall. Dr.

Alberta’s Primary and Preventative Health Care Minister Adriana LaGrange declined an interview request from The Canadian Press. Her office also declined to say whether LaGrange agreed with Smith’s assessment that the COVID vaccine “doesn’t work particularly well.”
