Despite the initial attempt by Air Canada to return to regular service as early as this morning, the move by the union representing striking flight attendants to defy the federal back-to-work order handed down over the weekend means travellers may be facing “another chaotic day,” Canadian Press reports.
The federal government ordered Air Canada and its flights attendants into binding arbitration Saturday in an effort to put an end to a strike that has upended the travel plans of hundreds of thousands of people during the height of summer season.
